Former NZ international footballer Michele was a trailblazer for women wanting to play professionally offshore. She has held administration and governance roles at FIFA, UEFA, New Zealand Football, New Zealand Cricket and Hockey New Zealand, is the author of nine books including the Sammy Soccer series, and is the first person to play an international fixture alongside a parent.
